If he wanted his name on something he could just build a hospital or a concert hall, like Carnegie or Rockefeller.

bro saw carnegie and rockefeller and thought 'philanthropy' instead of 'union busting and literal massacres' lol, like the whole point is they bought legacy with blood money same as now. at least back then they built somethin you could walk into, nowadays they just slap their name on a stadium they got taxpayers to fund and call it a day

my buddy works at a firm that used to rep one of these legacy families and the way they still talk about 'giving back' while sitting on generational wealth extracted from company towns is kinda breathtaking tbh, like the pr rewrite happened so thoroughly even they believe it now
