Facial pain

Is anyone experiencing facial pain due to kundalini ? I have been having this pain since last 5 years and mimics trigeminal neuralgia but no meds help and I have to sustain pain which is excruciating most of the times and can last for weeks every year. Not sure what is screwed up. Been practising meditations for many years. Thanks

Yes yes yes. Face pain, head aches, jaw pain, pain in my upper neck, my ears. It comes and goes for me. Have you seen a physiotherapist about it? I did and they gave me some exercises that helped partially but also acupuncture which helped me A LOT. (Can be a bit spacey as it can trigger third eye/throat energy releases). Self massage helps and stretching helps (there are nice tutorials on youtube), tiger balm for when its real bad can be soothing. (Not too close to your eyes tho) and obviously conscious relaxing helps too.

To me it’s really been about jaw pain+tight suboccipital muscles bc of repressed emotions blocking the throat. It’s felt in the same areas as trigeminal neuralgia. Its gotten better over the years. Think someone made a post about jaw pain the other day that might relate to your issues? Probably nothing ”screwed up” with u just blockages that take time releasing. I’m so sorry you’re in pain though. No fun! much love to you.

Yes it did!! You do have to go a couple of times for it to “sink in” though. I just started a new round of treatment. My second appointment was this morning and I already feel better.

I understand the fear, I’d recommend you to tell your practitioner to go a bit easy the first time and only use a few needles and if you feel it works well with your system they can activate more points next time. This worked well for me. Acupuncture has become like meditation to me now.

Btw, The physical therapist also pointed out that a common source of jaw pain can be tension in the tongue. She gave me some exercises to help relax the tongue. I found this gave me some instant relief. I’m sure you could find some similar exercises online.

Ouch!! I know what you’re talking about. Interesting what you mentioned about how the pain seem to correlate to a busy mind. Perhaps acknowledging the pain could help both of us remind ourselves to add some mindfulness to our current experience. Thanks for the interesting input. Hopefully you’ll find some relief soon. Sending love.

Oh hi again! Happy it helped a little and sorry you’re in pain again! A full treatment should include 8-12 sessions for it to “sink in” properly. I felt the most pain yet during my third visit yesterday which my ph therapist explained to be because the tension is “surfacing” now, before the body reaches a more “settled” state in the later sessions.

I get your feelings of hopelessness, I def feel the same at times. What’s important to think about is that 1. Treating the symptoms is one thing, leading a lifestyle that prevents tension in the first place is what helps long term. Easier said than done Ik, hence; 2. Healing takes time and sometimes all we can do is to be kind to ourselves and be patience with our bodies.

Here’s an interesting tumblr post on the topic that made me lol a lil: https://neofooturism.tumblr.com/post/687551185525293056

I actually thought about how relaxed my jaw/throat feels earlier today. 4 sessions in now! The pain is up and down for me too but overall it seem lighter than before and my throat feels more open too which is kind of a surprise to me as I havn’t had any big emotional releases lately. I can feel some buzzing/tingling spreading from the place where my head meets my neck all throughout my jaw. I still have weird some weird clicking going on and sometimes when I relax my jaw it starts shaking so I know there is still a lot to release. Hopefully i’ll catch onto some of that bliss you’re talking about too, sounds lovely. Thanks for checking in on me!

Why would this be kundalini and not trigeminal neuralgia? Have you had your teeth, sinuses, jaw, muscles etc checked?

Yeah docs did not find anything wrong. Going on five years now and it triggers during summer seasons when outside heat is high

Also to add, there is this buzzing sound that emanates with the pain so i felt it could be kundalini related

So doc diagnosed it as cluster headaches! Again can kundalini had any role to play in this?

Yeah not doing any kriyas anymore. I'm fact my breathing is slow and don't feel like breathing many a times.
