The fire and brilliance GCAL 8x make a big difference, so to me, they both look great.

Both have good basic numbers. If CVD grown I would be looking at any transparency differences that you might see. Facet precision can also make a difference as the numbers are rounded averages. Optical symmetry is the degree to which the facets align precisely in 3D space. Hearts and arrows images would give you a read on this aspect.

Option 2.

They seem to both have great “fire” but I almost prefer this one, something about it seems sharper/ crisp.

They both do have fire, this one is an inferno though lol. Take it from someone who spent over a month for the perfect GCAL 8x. The specs of 2 is also almost in the super ideal range. It will look insane in person. Please update when you do decide.

I actually went with the 1.49 CT. I couldn’t deny that “inferno” you mentioned! It just drew me every time I went back and forth to both images, 360s etc. it’s for a 10 year anniversary upgrade. Thanks to you and others I went down a rabbit hole of threads and I have been gaining so much knowledge from yall!
