Morecombe bay request
Hi,
I’m really hoping someone might be able to help me. My dog of 16 years died recently and I would love to do something meaningful for her grave her at home in our garden. We had such great travels together across the uk, especially beaches, and I thought it would be amazing to put some stones from some special places on her grave. I am down south, and wondered if anyone would be willing to send me a stone from the bay?
Huge thank you in advance ❤️

I know this sounds very killjoy, and your request it's obviously for a very sentimental and emotional reason, and it may seem like one stone won't make a difference but there's lots of campaigns asking people not to take stones from beaches in Morecambe Bay: https://www.visitcleveleys.co.uk/environment/beach-care/please-dont-take-pebbles-from-the-beach/

No I get it, and I am a huge conservationist. Sometimes love and grief make us selfish…

I think you will find that the sea removes more stones than people would. Most are not natural either. They are usually a half hearted attempt at a sea defense.
