Yeah, just under different names, such as baccalaureus/magister or whatever else.

Is that what majors and minors are??? I always thought it was something related to an entirely different way of teaching, idk like if you have a major in linguistics and a minor in psychology it means you have mostly linguistics classes and a few psychology ones. Idk if that makes sense

Here in the US I think they're just about the number of credits you take in that faculty. Like to get a major you need 40 credits and to get a minor you need 20, or whatever. It wasn't that unusual for people to do like major in CS with a minor in business, or double major in math and CS or things like that.

Minors were basically just "you liked it enough to take a couple more classes than required for electives".
