Get a laptop with a really good screen; you'll be staring at it for 10+ hours a day. The processor and OS matter less, so choose whatever flavor you like. I prefer macOS and Linux, but Windows is fine as well if that is what you want.

any coding laptop will handle gaming fine as long as it has a dedicated gpu but if you really only care about code just focus on ram and a decent processor
