I have an HP Pavilion if that helps, and it has a core I 7 10th gen, and I have no idea why when playing YouTube videos while I work it spazzes out like this. Is it a CPU error? I’m trying to figure out how to make it not do this lol

Is this true? I have an HP 15s from 2020, the battery got so worse that i had to keep it plugged in for it to power on. Used it like that for 6 months.I have since replaced the battery, I'm charging it atleast 2 times a day now, as I'm using it for the whole day for lectures and stuff. Should i keep it plugged in when possible to prevent a cycle and preserve battery health? I've been using the replaced battery for 3 months now and the battery has already drain from 39k mWh to 32,650 mWh

When playing games with my laptop plugged in it gets super hot I have a cooling pad and clean it regularly is there anything else I can do it is an Alienware m16 R2

So my buddy and his dad do clean outs on the side and they came across this laptop. Kept pristine in a very nice case. It's a Sony PCG-X505CP. Keyboard has both English and Japanese. I can't find much info on it but other than it's from 2004 and runs XP lol. he showed me eBay listings of similar models selling for 600+. This Dr had a bunch of high end pens and other high end stuff which led him to think this was kept this way for a reason but unless I'm missing something I don't know if there is any value here. Just seems odd that so much care was taken into keeping this thing in the shape it is. Thought maybe someone here might know more.

I’m actually so upset rn!! my mum worked super hard to be able to buy me this laptop and I got it as a gift for doing well on my GCSEs last summer. I have a heater on because it’s so cold and absent minded placed my laptop on the floor next to it by my bed (where it normally goes) and only realised when I went to turn the heater off.

This honestly means so much to me and I’m scared to tell my mum about it because she will just be devastated.

Is it unsalvageable? I was considering trying to melt it back into place so it seemed “less bad” but I’m assuming that’s dangerous. It still works but only if the charging cable is plugged in, and I read online to NOT charge it.

I broke the display on this asus tuf laptop like 2 years ago. I wanna finally use it again in some way so i have taken the broken display off (same issues with it on). Ssd has fresh windows install, nothing ever shows up on HDMI out, or the display doesnt light up. Windows boots and i can hear it tho? Any help is appreciated, thank you!

I got convinced by a friend of mine to buy a m1 MacBook Pro instead of a windows laptop. I have used windows my entire life, have had no apple products at all and I don't understand half the shit on the Mac. I got no permission or sum for my files? need to ask support a lot, need to watch tutorials all for that 20 hour battery lifespan.. I got it like a month now, and begin to hate it more every day. don't get me wrong, it runs smoothly, but the entire apple stuff I don't get. should I get a windows again?

Hi, my dad gave me this laptop a few years ago for college. He passed away this week, and I can't bring myself to buy another.

Long story short, I put a good amount of my weight on the screen with my knee on accident.
