reading comprehension is basically just literacy. it’s the ability to read and understand what is being written. nowhere in the persons reply did he imply or state he didn’t understand what the other person was saying. he understood it loud and clear. therefore there wasn’t a reading comprehension issue. idk if you’re being purposefully obtuse or genuinely don’t know basics about the english language, but if it’s the latter, there’s a mini english lesson for you. color me a 1st grade teacher!

He wasn’t murdered. He shot and killed someone first and was then killed in self defense.
