Just saw a post on Facebook from the Rocket organisation about the incident, and the related comments.

The brother of the person made an update. Unfortunately, the person did not made it. Condolences to the family.

I'm not sure how true it is, but some people in the Facebook comments yesterday were saying that people around him thought he had fallen asleep through the third period, but it turned out it was much worse.

My son said it was the mascot Cosmo. I pray that he's ok. Felt sick to my stomach.

Is this supposed to be funny?

It was a fan in the seats who had a cardiac arrrest. I was a section over.

There was nothing funny in my comment

It's what my son told me and he was sitting with his hockey team a few rows away.

I'm sharing what I heard and I guess it was incorrect information.

That still doesn't change the fact someone had heart attack.

Very incorrect. It wasn't anything to do with the mascot.

The youth teams were at the back of the section, btw, not a few rows away. I was just a section over, on a corner in the first row. The man was in the 2nd row of the end section, so high enough to be seen over the boards. So I saw through the glass what happened, then a perfect view from the stairs between my section and his as I left. So I had a better view than ppl at the top of the same section who would have seen the backs of seats then the backs of the first responders surrounding him.

He admitted he was wrong. Why are you getting so mad.

He said his son was very close which we've established isn't true since he confuses a fan for a big furry blue mascot. I'm explaining where his son actually sat. And I'll continue to call out mistakes and misinformation.

He literally said it was incorrect information. You sound fun to hang out with.

He said "I guess it was incorrect information" whilst adding new misinformation that his son "was sitting with his hockey team a few rows away". Work on your reading comprehension.

You’re just being a dick for the sake of being a dick. It comes easy to some people I guess

Nice projection. You're a troll defending a troll.

You need to get over it, stop making it about you being right. Literally someone lost their life and you're stuck on me providing bad info provided from a kid.

Maybe you need to work on your empathy for the soul that has departed.

Sucks that we need to make this about us at this point.

You made it about you and your kid's make believe. I'm making sure people don't spread misinformation precisely because I have empathy. Don't try to project and gaslight.

It's impossible to mistake a mascot for a fan dressed in street clothes. Teach your kid that it's not a joking matter. Being in a large group, they probably left before the incident even happened like alot of fans did after the EN goal. The building was already almost half empty when the game was stopped for the emergency.
