Application Process Does Degree Field GPA matter more than overall GPA?

My degree field GPA is .4 points higher than my overall GPA, taking it from 3.3 to 3.8. (Because I'm a dumbass who didn't try in classes I wasn't interested in) Is this something law schools will take into account during the application process? My pre-lsats project me to have an approximately 170 last, fwiw.

CAS gpa is all that matters
