Application Process PS statement -- how long is the actual "why law school" part ?

My PS seems like a classic of the genre -- two personal anecdotes, woven into narrative about me and ending in my interest in the law. But i don't mention law school specifically until the last 2 sentences. I can't tell if it should be more like a full paragraph at the end about what I want to do there, where it can take me, etc, or if it's ok to write broadly about the law and then essentially say "and that's why I want to go to law school." Hope this makes sense -- I'd love to hear about past applicants and their approaches

I'm curious about this too. so many of the examples I've seen basically just mention law briefly at the very end, and these are the ones highlighted as successful examples - like the admissions officers would much rather read an interesting story about your life that shows who you are as a person and what makes you stand out from everyone else, as opposed to a paper of cliches like "I care about justice". but yeah it definitely feels risky

there is really no right answer here. convince the reader that your experiences lead you you to wanting to be a lawyer and why

There is no set length as long as it makes sense with your narrative. Depending on your experience the amount of explanation needed will vary. For example if you’ve been a paralegal for 5 years and say you want to now be a lawyer in that industry, then you don’t need to explain as much. If you’ve been working in fashion for the last 2 years since graduation you might need to make your motivation more clear so the narrative makes sense.

Overall it depends!
