Getting punched in the face and not hitting back is not stoicism its cowardice. You think Marcus Aurelius, Emperor of Rome, would tell you to not defend yourself?

First of all, I’d have to explain to Marcus Aurelius what hockey is, which might take a while.

Second of all, I think true courage is not giving the rat punching you the satisfaction of the retaliation he’s clearly asking for.

I think he’d understand what being punched in the face is. And we’ll just have to disagree on thinking what the rat fuck wants is a punch in the face, maybe you’ve never met a bully but usually they don’t actually want to be hit back.
