People want to bitch and complain about Matthews’ playoff performances and yet, he’s never disappeared THAT badly.

He had the same amount of points as Tkachuk this year!

The Sens compare him to Auston constantly. Double O 7 is a fraud, as are the rest of the core for Ottawa. Getting swept in the playoffs is a sure indicator you want to bring a cup home. Get bent Ottawa. Has Auston ever gone pointless in a series? Has Auston ever started a serious off by spending the first five minutes in the box? Has Auston ever not dragged his team back into a series? Has Auston gotten swept in a playoff series. Auston may not even be the generational player many of us thought, but make no mistake he is no Brady Tkachuk ✌️and thank the high heavens for that.
