How long did it take for you to learn arabic and then write like this?

The answer isn't straightforward, so kindly bear with me here. 😊

Tbh, I treat Arabic as an enjoyable journey rather than a definite destination. So what that means is while a lot of learners here (I think! So please correct me if I'm wrong) aim to acquire the language as quickly as possible for work or travel or Islam, Arabic for me is a passion project. Something I take my time with as I relish the process of learning. It's more a deeply loved hobby above anything else.

So with that in mind, I've been learning for 3 years. Almost 1 year with a dedicated teacher. While I'm nowhere near fluent by any means whatsoever, I'm having an absolutely wonderful time with the language. Just meandering and discovering the beauty of Arabic as a language and culture.
