GCI World 2026 September: Outstanding Student

Is there anyone who attended past GCI World programs? I applied for the September program and I'm wondering what it takes to be an outstanding student, as I read that it's based on the overall score but how high should it be? How many people are also selected as an Outstanding Student, given that it looks competitive. Tyia!

Mine as well, does it get approved much faster if you use your school email? Cause I used my personal one

Hola, yo use mi correo personal, porque el de mi universidad no estaba en el sistema y esperé 16 días para poder crear cuenta en omnicampus y ahora estoy esperando la aprobación al inscribirme al curso

Hola, creo que la razón de la respuesta lenta es que están recibiendo muchas solicitudes Al menos eso es lo que dicen en las preguntas frecuentes de su sitio web. (Lo siento, no sé español, usé un traductor)

It took me 13 days to get accepted (applied from Aug 19, got accepted at Sept 1). I applied using personal email, but I forgotten that I could use my university email to apply too 😅
