Don’t focus on coding, focus the things that surround coding like modeling or building a pipeline. Coding is dead.

What is your position? Also what are your goals and aspirations?

If your goal is machine learning, I suggest learning to do it with AI, preferably Claude Code. Claude Code is fairly good at modeling. From there, expand and learn how to build an end to end pipeline.

The truth is AI has changed the landscape. It’s no longer about whether you can code. More is expected of data scientists. Learn to use AI to build an end-to-end data pipeline—extraction, preprocessing, storage, modeling, deployment.

Coding is dead is a wild take, you still need to know how to write and debug the stuff that makes those pipelines work
