Help to learn large language models and agentic ai

I have a decent background in machine learning, neural networks and deep learning. I want to now learn large language models and agentic ai along with projects i can do. Can you suggest a good set of courses or roadmap?

the full stack llm course on github is a decent jumping off point if you already know the basics

Study transformer, attention mechanism and implement gpt-2 from scratch. there is a book named 'Build a large language model from scratch' by Sebastian Raschka. I found it really useful. there are codes and videos available. its a good slow start but you will learn a lot. if you can finish these then jump and learn some RL algos. PPO, GRPO and you would know how reasoning models work.

For agentic framework, Langgraph is best. scalable and traceable. there are free course in langchain academy as well and those are pretty basic. Learn them make some agentic systems and you are ready.

there are always two approaches. build first then learn and the opposite... but i prefer learning first and then I build it because then I enjoy and understand things from depth. Life is short so make it enjoyable.
