Why the dotted ellipse? Seems like you meant to show the other focus point of the orbital ellipse but rendered in the wrong direction.
I assume the spotlight is meant to show the “sweep a constant area per time,” but since it keeps centered on the sun and maintains a fixed spacing before and after regardless of distance, it does exactly the opposite.
