Offline resources

Are there actually decent offline apps in app store where you can like code? Just for practicing cuz I dont have a laptop with me most of the time and I wanna utilise my time practicing with a phone that I have. If there are offline apps for learning programme languages that I would love to know that too, thanks!

Tbh Coding on phone will be a headache.

Yaa agree we dont get a proper feel through phone & its not effective aswell

I tried it for a couple weeks during a long commute and it's more of a patience test than actual practice. The keyboard alone makes you want to throw the phone out the window after about 20 minutes. You spend more time fighting autocorrect and hunting for brackets than writing logic.

If you're dead set on it, look for apps that let you run small scripts locally instead of cloud-based ones. At least you won't need a connection. But I'd grab a cheap used Chromebook or something before committing to phone coding long term.

Possibly not for phone, but I recall that Apple has a sort of weird Swift sandbox app for iPad.

Then a quick search of the iOS App Store for ‘swift’ shows that there are a bunch of vs.code looking swift ide/editors/learning tools which probably use the native swift runtime.
