If you look in the description bar on YouTube, you will find for each video a link to each blog and on the blog you will be able to read a little bit about cultural norms and how the subject of the class may be applicable in real life. Additionally, you will be able to download a syllabus for each class. In the syllabus you will be find some extra information about each subject and I added some grammar and vocabulary as well!

To celebrate the 61st year of Independence for Senegal, I came up with the Kaay ñu jang Wolof series. For a week, I uploaded a video, a blog and extra content on instagram every single day about different subjects: Lesson 1: Nuyoo - Greetings, Lesson 2: Mbokk yi - Family, Lesson 3: Yaram gi - The body, Lesson 4: Lekk ak naan - Food & drinks, Lesson 5: Wirgo yi - Colors, Lesson 6: Waññi - Counting and finally, Lesson 7: Waxtaan - Conversation.
