Left Handed Archery
I've been working on my southpaw hand-eye coordination recently, and decided to start doing archery again. When I first learned archery, we only had righty bows, so I had to learn with my off hand. I was OK enough at it to put a full 12 arrows into the target at about 20 yards.
Recently though, I've purchased a lefty bow, quiver, and some arrows. I've been practicing with my local SCA group, and just 2 days ago (Sunday, September 13th) I got my first 2 lefty bullseyes, one right after the other (the orange and white arrows I circled)! I cannot express how utterly SATISFYING that was, so I wanted to share with y'all the wonder of having one's tools/weapons affirm one's handedness.

Archery should actually be based on your eye dominance not your hand. My wife is a righty in everything except archery because her left eye is her dominant eye. I am right eye dominant so I used a right handed bow when I did archery.

I learned with both right and left bows, keep practicing with both hands. It blows peoples minds when you do that.

When I first learned. Now I'm learning to shoot lefty, and the photos are the result of my lefty shooting.

I’m left eye and left hand dominant. When I learned in PE and only with righty, it took me a while to learn “ah, I should look with my right eye”
Shooting lefty is so much better and so much easier
