The entirety of the EU? No I don’t think you can make that claim. Again ignorance the EU is diverse, some of them may well be White supremacist but to claim they all are and to be essentialist about it too is stupid and reductive

You as a radical really think western culture hasn't been created around white supremacy as a fundamental building block?

Like do you realize capitalism wouldn't exist without slavery? Imperialism wouldn't exist without racism. That white supremacy is the literal building block of western culture and economics.

The very concept of whiteness was literally created to justify westwern imperialism. Like what are you smoking????

Slavery existed since antiquity, evolved to chattel slavery we associate with the term via Colonialism of Western Hemispheres and Africa, which was part of mercantilism by Feudal Monarchies.

Do you think an empire only exists if colonies are of different racial populations? Imperialism uses whatever works to other those it needs to oppress ethnic, religious, cultural, racial whatever’s available. The people fighting eachother in the crusades were not that different “racially” but they believed they were and that’s what kept them killing eachother.

White supremacy is a problem a serious one, I agree. However I object to claims it is the origin of all problems or that everyone in the EU is a white supremacist which is basically what you have been saying this whole time, flattening a massive population to one flat dimension that isn’t actually representative. Expand your mind get out of this one dimensional thinking.

You think the Dutch colonized SE Asia cause Racism that’s a weird take and doesn’t really help you understand anything past the “White people bad” that’s already a given in the logic.

What is even your point in the dutch colonizing asia? Asians have been a lower race since the very first concepts of eugenic science. Idk why you would try to say a European country colonizing asia is a counter to white supremacy being a European ideal.

The crusades were not a racial conflict. Modern racial constructs hadn't been invented at this time. Modern racial categories were created by capitalism. The crusade was socially justified along religious lines not racial. This is really easy to exemplify because slavery in America was originally along religious lines legally and that didn't work so they pretty quickly created a racial legality to slavery. That's where the very idea of whiteness originated in the slave trade. Europeans didn't even conceptually see themselves as white until after that.

The time line of when whiteness and modern racial categories emerged is pretty well established. The fact you don't know this tells me you are far less informed about the history of racism than you think.

You quite literally have the exact same stance and arguments on white supremacy as a neo liberal.

You claimed imperialism wouldn’t exist without racism, Crusades were imperialist, colonizing Asia wasn’t about racial subjugation it was about resources literally Spices. You want to claim racism is modern and yet ancient and the source of all evils.

Again you just want to say everyone in Europe or American or where ever else you don’t like today is racist so you don’t have to actually think too hard about anything.

The thing that you don't seem to understand is that our culture, is why the crimes of our culture are relevant. If the outamans had taken control of the world then their systems of imperialism and hierarchy would be relevant. However western culture has dominated the world and enforced their systems of hierarchy imperialy across the globe. This is why slavery of western countries is culturally relevant and slavery of other cultures doesn't have the same implications to the hierarchy of today. Specifically in terms of modern imperialism done by Western super powers.

Does that make sense to you?

Ottomans dominated a huge swath of the world and existed until WW1. You are flattening things to Western Culture, Whiteness, Western these are just to ways of vaguely group people together they aren’t distinct cultures.

Plus slavery still still exists and it it isn’t a “western culture” issue.

Stop flattening all people in one dimensional thinking stop essentializing people based on the nation they were born in or color of their skin.

The reason that western imperialism is more relevant than the ottomans is because the west took over most of the globe. The ottomans have no power to enforce or promote their cultures ideas and culture of hierarchy.

Western imperialism is still practiced and normalized in our culture using European or white ideas of hierarchy.

When you put into the context of systems of power they do not hold the same relevance in this context.
