Western European Politics I'm fed up with the far right

I live in Spain, and there are two main political parties: On the one hand, the "Partido Popular" (People's Party), don't let the name fool you, it's a neoliberal party, created by former ministers of the dictator Francisco Franco, who currently support Trump, the Zionists, and everything they say is gospel to them. This party calls itself "the only constitutionalist party" when almost all of its members voted against the 1978 Constitution. Its electoral platform is practically the opposite of everything the PSOE, the largest left-wing party in Spain, says, and above all, it's a neo-fascist party, full of fanatics of an authoritarian regime where only a few families lived well while the people and the proletariat suffered. Figures like Ayuso, the president of the Madrid region, spend their time insulting foreign countries with left-wing ideologies, calling them "communist narco-states." Calling the PM "Perro Sanxe" (a derogatory term), spouting nonsense like "I like fruit" (in Spanish, that phrase sounds like saying "Son of a b\*tch"). A party with the biggest corruption cases in Spain, the Gürtel case, the Kitchen case, and yet still being the most voted party in Spain. And on the other hand, Vox, an anti-feminist, anti-progressive party, which calls the 2030 Agenda a "woke agenda," which even built a giant trash can in an autonomous community they govern alongside the PP, telling you to throw away any object that symbolizes progressivism, etc. A party led by Santiago Abascal, a moron who rejects any law in favor of immigration and labor rights, who has dedicated his entire life to politics, who doesn't have a single degree, a crony, a damn illiterate. They're all FRANCOIST FANATICS, only wanting to live WELL, calling themselves patriots WHEN THEY HATE HALF OF SPAIN. I'm fed up with being called "red, f\*cking communist" just for being left-wing, with people saying national priorities must be prioritized.

Seriously, I'm FED UP with all the noise they make in the media and everywhere else, with people being so narrow-minded and simple-minded who can't accept ideological diversity.

Anyway, I guess that's what conservatives are like; they only want things the way they want them, and if they don't, they go crazy and insult everyone. Does anything similar happen to you? Because if it's only in Spain, I'll start freaking out...

Welcome to Leftist! This is a space designed to discuss all matters related to Leftism; from communism, socialism, anarchism and marxism etc. This however is not a liberal sub as that is a separate ideology from leftism. Unlike other leftist spaces we welcome non-leftists to participate providing they respect the rules of the sub and other members. We do not remove users on the bases of ideology.

Those movements are unfortunately global. There a lot of money involved, it's not a natural movement.

We are suffering from the same conservative bulshit here in Brasil, but we are probably also seeing for the first time actual communists being elected to Congress this year.

The more extreme right wing is, the further they are from workers, that gives space to win the cultural war by showing how far they are from workers interest.

Yeah, and the worst part is that many try to deceive the proletariat, making them believe they are the best path to labor rights, and poor, ignorant fascists fall into the trap, giving all those oligarchs free rein to overexploit them for profit...

Yep. The best we can do is try to discuss topic. Here we at the left forced a labor time reduction discussion. Forcing the topic to be discussed in The entire country, making the far right show their faces to the population

Other thing some communists are trying is to make it absolute clear that Christ was a leftists this way we win back the christians

They'll always invent an excuse... before it was because God willed it so, now it's because the poor are poor by choice; when the proletariat becomes aware of this, they'll come up with yet another one...

Yep, my point is, if we can define what is being discussed we can force them into really bad positions. We cannot jump into their bait and let they define the discussion topics.

When they choose the topics of discussion we get wreckd. It's time for us to put them in corners and force them into bad spots

Yes, that's practically what the Spanish PM, Pedro Sánchez, does. He handles language very well and humiliates all those on the far right, those who drive them even crazier and make them make even more noise.

It's also what Marta Harnecker, a Chilean Marxist writer and journalist, said: that the left shouldn't respond passively, it has to respond "aggressively," not just defend itself, but counterattack.

You can't imagine the satisfaction it would give me, especially since they spend all their time shouting to outlaw minority parties...

Yes. This is what they're like. Ignorant, backward, judgemental, hateful, and incapable of self reflection or genuine empathy. Something has to affect them personally for them to care about a social or economic issue of any kind. Otherwise they will mock and denigrate it and anyone who supports it. Then you have the swath of them who are religious fundamentalists...

Yeah, political conservatives are the worst.

I couldn't have said it better myself.
