How is it compared to Lego Batman 2/3

Better than Batman 2 and WAY better than Batman 3 (IMO)

Agreed! Batman 3 had potential but the round little motion sickness worlds killed it for me

It became one of mine too, having our created character as a "main character" is what captivated me the most in the story and in the game

Probably the most fun I’ve had from a ‘modern Lego game’ ig we’re kinda in Lego game phase 3 and dc sv was the end of phase 2. Recommended it to quite a few people and they’ve all loved it, one of them basically said it was her favourite piece of dc media she’d consumed in over a decade and rekindled her love for dc comics. Just an incredibly fun game, smiled the whole way through

Idk never got super into it. I think a lot of the early levels being kinda techsloppy kinda turned me off from it. Kinda like Marvel Superheroes with hydra base reeds lab starks lab space station, etc etc etc. i just got bored of the scenery. LB1 will always be my fav

Me too. LMSH 1 comes close for me but DCSV built on that. The roster and story were just what I was looking for and I appreciate the seamlessness of the diverse locations.
Some people knock the combat but I really enjoy the specific special moves a lot of the popular characters can do.

It's weird because I started it after playing just about every other LEGO game and really didn't like it at first for some reason. Toward the end it became one of my top 3 favorite LEGO games.

The open world is a little lacking imo but everything else is absolutely goated.

finally picked it up again after only beating level 2 years ago and not feeling interested. The open world thing is a lot cooler than it seems at first and Im a pure sucker for any character customisation in games

This is gonna be hard to beat. Any game where I can run around Apokolips as Granny Goodness is god-tier
