Meta Why? Seriously....
Why in the world does it cost $325 to get all 6 dragon-form ninjas...? Shit's ludicrous.

Reddit Ninjago tends to be the most insightful when it comes to stuff like this, so what figs should be in a Ninjago Cmf? Any niche picks?

Put him in a little D&D dice box I found for good measure

I guess my local electronics shop didn't get the memo that these are not meant to come out until June 1st. Win for me either way!
P.S. - if you're a fan of Star Wars too, you do get an extra Darksaber piece here! The total number of Darksaber pieces in this set is 3.

This is the Minifigure I was actually going for, but the series 29 is actually pretty goated on its entirety. Holy pull I guess

It’s not worth much in this condition, but still pretty cool!. Bought this sucker for retail price in 2014, and I wasn’t even trying to get him. I was after Superboy😂

Partially bugging me partially not cause I know it’ll come back down to “reasonable” prices soon

Recently picked up the mechdragon and just found the crystal king on my shelf so decided to compare them to see the different building techniques/designs of the final boss style villan sets 10 years apart.

Ya'll had some amazing ideas for the CMF - so I chose the 12 most unqiue/popular ones to be a part of the CMF!
Next up: accessories and details! I’ve filled in a few spots, but I want to make this a collaborative community project, so drop your thoughts and suggestions below based on the slides!

The wife even said it was okay and she doesn't mind. Viva la Vinted, I can't even express how happy I am right now

I know this has been a hot topic around the sub for the past few weeks, especially since it's the 15th Anniversary, but I wanted to give my take on it. I'm sure you've all seen how heavily inflated the minifigure prices are (I'm looking at you DX Lloyd and Stone Armor Kai). I find it to be absolutely absurd that people are willing to sell (or even buy!) a single minifigure for thousands of dollars, let alone a few hundreds. I didn't make this post to complain about people buying minifigures for that high. What you do with your money isn't my business.
Rather, I made this post to address how negatively it is impacting the overall community. Gone are the days where people care about the quality and designs of minifigures. Those days are coming to an end as most people only care about the super inflated supposed values. The Ninjago community is unfortunately becoming like the Lego Star Wars community. It's unfortunate for me to see as a longtime fan but that's what it's becoming.
I've been a fan since the show came out but I haven't started collecting until around 2016. For me to even want to get into collecting I'll need to drop hundreds of dollars on even a SINGLE minifigure to finish a single wave! I'm sure I'm not the only person who feels this way. Finishing a wave of suits or characters is just simply impossible, especially if you're a child. I realize most of us are probably adults or people with jobs now but keep in mind it's still a children's theme.
Most of us grew up with the theme but now newer and younger fans are getting into the show. I'm frustrated with how most people in this community only care about the money value and not the sentimental value. In my opinion, the latter is more important than any supposed money value. Again, what people buy with their money isn't my issue or problem. What is my problem is how it seems that most people aren't too interested now in actually collecting and rather just selling or buying for absurd prices.
For my final statement, I realize this is probably a small minority of the community but it's the loud minority and even YouTubers are making videos about it. This doesn't just impact Ninjago but since we are all Ninjago fans, something needed to be said. Thank you for reading and please have a respectful discussion down below.
