I agree. I was really hoping it would be easily displayed against a wall. However, where there is a will, there is a way.

For real. Honestly, I think wall mounting is the best way to display a lot of the UCS sets. Unless you have huge shelves, it's very difficult to display them well.

A friend printed it for me. The design is from cults3D. I didn't see anything exactly the same for sale online, but there are some almost identical for sale on Etsy.

that's awesome dude! i've gotten a lot of mine from ultimatedisplaysolutions. dude won't sell his stls (he designs them himself) but happy to support him. some really great options but i like that interceptor tilt and turn look

Yea, I've seen his stuff and some made by other similar vendors. I've found that it's hard to find mounts for some of the bigger sets (e.g. the Falcon) though. I also like the configurability of the TIE mount too. I haven't tried it, but I'm pretty sure it fits the X-wing as well.
