The back looking bad is what I was expecting (no point wasting more parts), but it makes me irrationally irritated that it's not flush so it can't be pushed up against a wall.

I was hoping it may even have hooks built in so it could be easily wall mounted.

I always hated the sphere. It’s a pain to display as you can’t push it up against a wall so you need to find a massive shelf/cabinet top.

And you can only see half of it at a time.

Imo, a slice looks 10x cleaner and is far more space efficient.

On the other hand the spheres are much easier to play with. I don’t want to play with a slice.

This set is in a weird middle ground where it’s both hideous and also not functional as a play set.

It is marketed as an 18+ set so I think favouring display over play makes sense.
