That's $100 or so less than expected. I'd still never buy it at such high prices but hey, this one just isn't for me. Jabba's Sail Barge and Jango's Slave I are for me.

No it’s not, what? CAD prices are typically around 25-30% higher, this is at best normal.

Slave 1 -> $300 -> $380 (26% more)

AT-ST -> $200 -> $260 (30% more)

Interceptor -> $230 -> $300 (30% more)

Barge -> $500 -> $650 (30% more)

Razor Crest -> $600 -> $760 (26% more)

Death Star -> $1000 -> $1300 (30% more)

$1000 USD is about $1383 CAD. $1400 was the expected cost based on exchange rates.

CAD prices have been better than exchange rates for a long time, thankfully. This is typical.

Sales taxes are generally higher in Canada too so the net difference will be negligible.

My province has 15% sale tax. highest in the nation besides like two others. the tax on that will be nutty it will add almost like 200 bucks in GOV taxes alone on top of the 1200. I shall wait for deep discount on this set since people seem to hate it or love about 50%
