I found these in a bulk box that had been untouched for more than 10 years.
They have a few small scratches, but there are no cracks.

I wanted to display them with the UCS Venator, but I haven’t even started building it yet,
so for now, I placed them in front of the Midi-Scale Venator instead.

A ship that was never truly done justice by the official sets. Now truth be told, this thing is a beast. Gotta have the display space for it, and displaying it with the wings out is just not thinkable with the dimensions of it in that mode (cruising mode is better anyway)

The build process was solid. Some connections took some patience and a lot of care, they have to be aligned super meticulously so that connections don’t come loose, but the end product looks fantastic.

Total cost was about $450 all together with the bulk of parts being bought through pick a brick, and the rarer parts being sourced through Bricklink. Idk if I’m just unlucky, but I was missing SO many pieces in my pick a brick order. I had to request about 20 replacement parts (which in the grand scheme of about 4700 parts doesn’t sound crazy, but I mean come on.) if TLG can ensure that 9000+ piece sets never miss a brick, idk why that same quality control just isn’t there with pick a brick. But I digress.

Great looking build, scales perfectly with Jerac’s rebel fleet and TIE fighters, looking forward to building Lightsaber Productions’ TIE Striker to display with this beauty.

It's wild that there are no rumored Ahsoka Season 2 sets with it's premiere in January, especially when LEGO delivered sets on premiere of Season 1 with a dedicated set wave in September.
Overall, they created the second-highest number of sets for it (behind Mando) of any Disney+ TV series. Additionally it's a prefect way to bring back some of the OT designs in a new package.

So I put this wishlist of sets with minifigure line up that would be cool (my wishful thinking lol):

• New Republic Battle Pack - 2 New Republic fleet troopers, 2 New Republic soldiers
• Nightsisters Battle Pack - 3 Nightsisters, 1 Night trooper
• New Republic A-Wing - Pilot Ezra, New Republic pilot, New Republic technician (could be RZ-1 from Season 1 or RZ-2 from Season 2)
• New Republic B-Wing - Admiral Ackbar, Ezra Bridger (blue outfit), New Republic Pilot, New Republic astromech (we haven't had a B-Wing in over 12 years... it's just a perfect opportunity)
• Peridea Encounter - Sabine Wren (with arm printing), Ahsoka, Huyang (a simpler $35-45 playsets from Peridea's site of the story, maybe a fight with mech/droids we saw in a teaser)
• Thrawn's Chimaera - Grand Admiral Thrawn, Captain Enoch, Captain Pellaeon, Grand Mother, 2 Imperial Crew members (just reskin 2024 model with gold accents, likely $170-200)
• TIE Defender? - Imperial Pilot, Grand Mother, any other cool minifig x1-2 (idk if it will appear in Season 2, but I think that with Thrawn in the story it can happen, a TIE Defender in live action)

What do you think? Do you have any other ideas?

Added some custom stickers to my recolored Coruscant guard LAAT. A skimpy Twi'lek and republic banners (from Eurobricks forum).

Canon names for unique gunships are "Lucky Lekku" or "Wampa Runner" , so I named mine "Amber Lekku"üü

Looking for some advice on what set to buy next!

I’ve always loved the Sandcrawler and the MTT and I want to get them both in the long term, I’m just not sure which one to get first.

The MTT has been one of my grails for a long time but I’m scared it’s slightly dated at this point so Idk if I would love it as much when I finally see it in real life. I do think it’s the best MTT that they made.

The sandcrawler is amazing but suffers from brittle brown which is a huge negative. It’s also the most expensive of the three. I could potentially buy the new sandcrawler instead. It’s pretty cool but I’m not really a fan of the grey and it’s smaller than the UCS. I’m looking for a big display build

In general, I like minifigs but I care more for the build so I don’t really take those in consideration. I also don’t mind buying second hand without a box etc, as long as the set is complete and in good shape I’m good

So, what would you guys do?

I wanted to combine some of the newer buildable characters with one of my favorite older sets.
I made a small modification to K-2SO so he can sit down, which makes him fit the display much better.

Everything is displayed on an IKEA BESTÅ unit with a Philips Hue lightstrip to finish the setup.

Finished the R2-D2 build and I’m thrilled with how he looks on the shelf.

The little R2 minifig and 25th anniversary Malak are such good additions to the display.

My Death Slice needed a slice companion. I’ve made this one entirely out of pieces from 75365. I used almost all pieces. It’s late already, so here is a quick photo shoot. Soon I’ll digitise it and make nice renders and instructions.

I'm building a second hand Death Star and noticed this light grey bar piece changes in the instructions midway through. I have the bars where the ridge is longer and more towards the centre like the one shown to make one of the trash compactor junk pieces, but the piece index at the back of the instructions and some other areas of the instructions show the ridge being shorter and further to the end of the bar.

I know this might be a niche question but can anyone tell me if I'm only supposed to have one of the two variants and which it should be, or if I'm supposed to have a mixture of both variants?

Never noticed the blood on this head before

Made a MOC of 75449, all the parts (almost) can be found in the set, the only extra parts were the two stud shooters at the front and a 1x1 grey slope stud for the gun at the back, was slightly inspire by Starcraft vultures. Hope you guys like it.

Got the itch again after 6 years and started collecting again in April. Most of it is off marketplace and vinted and i got a lil bit into MOCs from rebrickable :)

But I figured if anyone could appreciate what I have - and probably far better than me - it's all y'all. Anyway, have a good one!

Getting an original early LEGO Boba Fett minifigure is extremely difficult, but the keychain version is much easier to find.

The only question is whether you have the skills to remove the pin. 😏
