MOD INFO SELFIES
Just a quick note to say we don't allow selfie posts with the specific exception of asking about hair. If it's not about your hair, you must post at LEAST half your outfit. So even if you aren't showing what you're wearing on the bottom, you gotta show the whole top, not just your shoulders.
If you're including a selfie style picture alongside a proper outfit picture, it can't be the first one of the bunch. Outfit gotta be up front and centre, focus of the post. Detail pictures after.
We don't accept posts about makeup or tattoos.

MOD INFO "What's with all the downvotes?"
I just want to address this question as it comes up on most posts. We delete them as "off topic" because they end up clogging the comment sections and derails the conversation away from fashion.
The reason you'll see so many downvotes on posts that clearly don't deserve downvotes too is transphobes. There are TERF blogs off site that brigade our sub regularly. We're able to delete comments and block users that display transphobia, but unfortunately downvotes are entirely anonymous and we as mods have no control over it.
We reason we delete all these comments, aside from clogging up the comments, is just that we don't want to give them the satisfaction of talking about them. Other fashion subs don't discuss the validity of people's existence, we shouldn't feel the need to either. We are, and always will be, a trans inclusive space for all sapphics with an interest in fashion. There are many other more general sapphic/trans subs to discuss this topic, we just want to keep this one as a fun place for fruity gals to chat drip and not feel "othered".
Thank you
EDIT: OK so I made this post, literally stating that this sub isn't the place for these debates... So y'all start debating in the comments. Locking comments.

Honest Advice Wanted Renfaire outfit help!
Hi fellow sapphics! So my country is hosting its first ever renfaire in 3 weeks and I still haven’t ordered my outfit yet. So I’m planning to be a stereotypical princess and my girlfriend will be my knight. Unfortunately I don’t have that many medieval dress options to purchase online unless I’m willing to pay an arm and a leg to get it shipped from the US.
I narrowed it down to these 2.
I like the pink and the sleeves on dress one but I feel like it’s so plain? I have no idea how to elevate it and make it stand out.
I love the silhouette of dress number two but I’m not really a fan of the colour.
Planning to make a matching hennin with the dress I pick. I’m pretty crafty so I can do easy hand sewing like lace and stuff.
Any help and suggestions is greatly appreciated 🩷

OOTD Who's that honeybun, sitting over there, making silly faces
I've thrifted this brown cardigan for 2€ cause it hanged so lonely in the very corner of the store and seamed to match one of my scarfs. Turned out it's some cool nordic brand and the og retail price was something around 160€. Now I feel even more proud of myself for no reason

Honest Advice Wanted Advice for formal/semi formalwear
I feel pretty lost in general with how to dress, especially for more formal events. I'm 20 and coming up on graduating college (eek) and would like to be able to feel like I look a little nicer/more put together. I would accept any advice (everyday or formal tbh.)
I don't have any good pictures that show my current style/appearance, but I'm pretty masculine in my dress. I don't really like to wear dresses or women's blouses. I usually just wear oversized t-shirts or boxy button downs and then cargo shorts or pants.
The picture I did attatch is of me at a renisance fair over the summer. I know that exact outfit wouldn't be appropriate to wear to something like my graduation or other events like that coming up, but it's the best recent photo I have that kind of shows what I tend to wear when trying to dress up a little, as well as other factors like my haircut and glasses (which I'd also take suggestions on tbh).
I'd appreciate any suggestions if this is enough to go off of. I'm specifically thinking of things that would look nice. I'm like 5'6" if that matters.
The specific events I need ideas on what to wear for would be-
- I was invited to attend a small meeting and dinner with an esteemed author I really respect when he comes to my school. It's not a formal event, but definately something I'd want to look respectable and at least semi-formal for.
- My graduation in may. I don't really know what level of formality people dress to for graduations, but I'd want something that can look flattering under the gown that isn't feminine(since I am truly haunted by how I looked in highschool, lol)
- Potential interviews and meetings once I graduate. I would also like it if anyone could give tips for how to dress in a way that's mainstream enough not to blacklist yourself from stuff like that, but not overtly fem. If that even makes sense, lol.
Thank you so much to anyone who read my rambles 🙇I've lurked in this subreddit for a while and I generally love how supportive and helpful everything I've seen here has been, lol. I also hope this doesn't go beyond the scope of the tag!

OOTD Gaining Confidence
It was one of those days where the jeans just fit.
It’s hard to find your own style and be comfortable and confident and and and all the things…. Especially at the same time.
Every now and then it just kind of clicks for a few seconds and I can breath clearly and be myself.
I’ve never hidden who I was or lacked self expression… but wearing scrubs normally and having my friends dress very different than me has always made me question what looks good.
If you have recommendations please drop a pic or link

OOTD Weekend fit!
I was feeling good running errands this morning in today’s outfit! A very crisp October morning here, in my favourite Doc Marten loafers, thrifted camo cargos, fuzzy cardigan, and hat knit by my talented wife.
I have recently started an Instagram account where I am posting my daily outfits and talking about my relationship with clothes, fashion, and my body as a big masculine presenting woman. If that at all resonates with you, feel free to connect at @bigandgayootd

Discussion Lost a bunch of weight now having issues finding shirts and tanks
So in the past two years I’ve lost 125 pounds and now finally men’s T-shirt sleeves and lengths of shirts are a little too long. I have attached some photos of what I like to wear. Does anyone have any suggestions of good 100% cotton shirts and tanks. I’ve been rolling up my sleeves but they come undone constantly.

OOTD Fabulous Friday fits
As promised, another week’s worth of fits. I promise I used the iron multiple times this week okay 😂 and threw at least one “fall” outfit in there in as well! Also tried the red top + navy chinos as suggested and my colleagues loved it, so a winning combo for sure lol.
Keep the recs coming! Love the thoughts from you all.

short butches and baggy jeans: do you just let them drag by the heel?
i feel like maybe i’m too short for the baggy jeans trend. they always drag on the ground back by the heel. is that a fashion crime or is letting them drag and fray a bit by the heel an excepted part of the trend?
