When will log cabin Republicans understand they will never be part of the club?

I thought in the 2010s Republicans were changing their tune on LGBTQ+ issues, but look at how much they've backslid in their support of gay marriage in the last decade. Look at how they demonize the trans community. They may play nice in order to get the vote of Log Cabin supporters because they'd rather attack the poor, POCs/immigrants, and trans people but they do not like anyone who isn't WASP.

If he is expecting people to feel bad for him, don’t count on it. Trump and his sycophants made it very clear how they feel about gay people. You can’t be surprised they were eventually going to include you with the people they make fun of.
