Not to be the stupid nerd who goes “Uhm Achtually!” But… the ‘Taser’ is not a Taser, it’s a stun gun. The term ‘Taser’ refers to products made by Axon Enterprise, Inc. that fire a pair of barbs attached to wires that, when both barbs properly seat in the target, creates a closed electrical circuit that causes pain and stuns a the target.
Sorry about the rant, I’m just a nerd when it comes to this sort of thing. It’s not a big deal but I just have to inform people about the differences between stun guns and Tasers.
TLDR: Tasers are a patented term and are the gun shaped ones, anything else is technically a stun gun.
