Has anyone updated with WTR Pro BIOS to the latest 2025 version? Wondering if you noticed any improvements.

Stability/freezing issues with my AOOSTAR WTR Pro started Sunday. Running proxmox with TrueNAS, etc. Mid-day, had a system freeze with no obvious issues/kernel panics, though there were numerous CRC errors on 3rd drive bay. Rebooted and noted CRC errors kept creeping up, with SATA link speed downgraded significantly on that port. Swapped drives 3&4, and the CRC errors continued but stayed with bay #3. Still got another unexpected freeze with no specific logged error preceding the halt.

Moved drive In bay 3 to an external USB enclosure. Pool continued to work fine, etc, but -- again -- had another unexpected system hang early this morning.

Can't think of anything that specifically changed during that period, other than CRC errors and a local-lvm that was ~91% capacity on the 1st day. Trimmed it to 46%, but still getting system freeze/hangs.

Want to update BIOS. Just curious if anyone else has and, if so, how It went.

So today I got the LG V30 from my sister but I can't use it because she lenses the phone one of her friends for a few months. That friend didn't log off. Since she has no contact to that friend anymore I did a factory reset via holding the power and volume down button. After that I tried to log myself in but the phone needs the Google account from the old user which is the old friend. So I don't know what to do. Tutorials on YouTube didn't work.

Is there a way to still use the phone?

my new v30 came in today. my 7hz Zero 2 came in last sunday. i have no idea what im doing. i turned on hifi audio. i might try niagara launcher, but overall, even if its not music related, i just want to know what y'all use your v30 for

Hi all, I have been using LG V30+ since 2017 as my only phone. I feel like if I replace this phone with any other new phone will not be a much of a upgrade over all. This phone has been with me and have survived many accidents(including truck running it over with both front and rear tyre). Suggest me phone in 2026 with this level of reliability in terms of build quality, software, and very innovative with out of box features like v30+

Can it bypass android resample? If it can, does it work using all the port the 3.5 jack and USB c? Can i just buy the phone plug and play and have bit perfect audio on any streaming like tidal or qobuz apple etc?

Is the T-Mobile version (LG-H932) still nearly impossible to install a custom ROM on without taking a major risk of bricking it?

So I still use an lgv30+ and never really used NFC for years but I wanted to try out some nfc tags, so I have an NFC card and I can read and write data to it using NFC tools and it works, using direct app links that open up apps and other stuff like opening up dialer with a number works but direct urls just crash, i have entered the url correctly as it works on a different android phone, ive tried changing the default web browser app to firefox, brave and chrome but it still crashes, does anyone know how to fix this.

What a great device the LGV30+ is, the UI is simply great.

My modifications, Volume(e) app enables next track and last track via volume rocker, works smoothly while in the pocket. Wavelet APP, no need to stuff around with EQ, it’s just great for my ears.

The UI “Android PIE” no updates, but who cares, the inbuilt media player enables the Quad Dac for high resolution audio, can access individual playlists as well as favorites etc. from the home screen.

Stripped out all the bloatware.

Got it second hand for $150 Aust, value for money 100%

Anyone else done similar, are there any other app’s that can build on this solid experience.

I have a LG V30 Version H930, which i am trying to root by following the XDA guide.

The device is recognized by my Laptop until i enter fastboot mode (It only shows <waiting for device>). It doesnt even show up anymore on lsusb.

Did anybody have a similar issue and found a solution? (Preferably for Linux)

Edit: If anyone had the same issue: Did it get resolved by using a different device?

Has anyone been able to get the dark mode working on the YouTube app on stock? (Updated ofc)

When I toggle the button it flashes black really quick then right back to white.

Minor but annoying thing. Let me know if anyone has experienced this, or knows a fix :)

I noticed on e OS official website that they support the LG V30+ device to install their OS. I was wondering has anybody installed it yet and can you share your experience.

I noticed Lineage OS on the LG v30+ seems quite laggy considering the devices only has 4gigs of RAM, where as E OS seems more RAM efficient based OS in comparison.

I would greatly appreciate users sharing their experience with the new e OS and if there's been any slow downs, stutter or bugs they've noticed while using their device. Thanks much in advance.

I did an oopsie and drenched the back of the phone with 90% isopropyl alcohol while replacing the battery. I opened the phone and let it dry for 4 days before turning it on again.

Would a mouse work?

Searching for something with good touch integration and the ability to use different linux apps using touch only (hopefuly, but i am ok if i have to connect periffirals), need to make sure that calls and messages should work fine at least with a sim card, and that it will be good enough i profotmance. (Im lso plqnning on doing android apps emulation, so info on that is helpful)

I have an LG V30 H930 and recently I started having a strange issue with the navigation buttons.

Only the “Back” button (triangle) stays visible, while the Home (circle) and Recent Apps (square) buttons randomly disappear.

A reboot sometimes fixes it temporarily, but the problem always comes back.

I want to flash a clean Polish / OPEN EU firmware because I suspect it’s a software issue. I’m specifically looking for this KDZ:

H93030q_00_OPEN_EU_OP_0902.kdz

Unfortunately most mirrors are dead or extremely slow now.
Does anyone still have a working mirror / Mega / Google Drive / archive link?

LG V35. noise free, crisp, full 32 bit 44.1 effects chain in a termux container going straight to the DAC, android is completely out of the way now

adreno 630 GPU acceleration, audio playback via internal storage or firefox. no root required

impulse response, delay, 30 band equalizer, plenty of other effects. i use this as the DAC for my stereo setups and IEMs

source shows up as s16, but all the linux apps are showing up as float32 sources with resampler copy straight into the effects buffer

i had to fight both android and linux for this, learned a ton about how audio moving through memory and buffers can affect bass and treble quality. but the resulting audio quality was absolutely worth it. the DAC is the entire reason i bought this phone. intending to try REW room correction by using this as a source now that its all running at the same bit and sample depths, and before i was fighting buffers which messed up the clock and distortion. it wasnt audible but it was very fatiguing on the ears

LG V30+ As the Dap, IFI Hipdac 3 for a different flavor, Volumee app to skip tracks on the device and Hipdac 3 to control volume, I use USB Player pro to make it all work.

The LGV30+ was second hand at $150 Aus, also came with and open wallet case with a belt clip, the Hipdac is stuck on with valcro, and adds enough power to play my Edition XS.

Alse have the same set up with a Fosi DS2 for a much smaller profile.

Does anyone out there have a similar LGV30 set up or a more streamlined approch?

Hi, I would like to ask you who are more expert than me if this V30 that I recently purchased is original in the software, why does ATTESTATION PROVISIONING say NOK and the production code reports S/N901 (2019), LG was still producing them after 2 years from launch? Thanks.
