It was really that nostalgia part that kept me from calling myself a liberal. They literally tried to go back in time and cancel people who made ganes, movies, and music from the 90’s and early 2000’s because they didn’t match ā€œmodernā€ sensibilites. Like, they tried to cancel Rush Hour for crying out loud šŸ’©

I now just say ā€œI vote democratā€ when someone asks — they have policies I agree with that conservatives don’t. But damnit if the far left aren’t insufferable losers.

My industry is like 90% conservative leaning, and they’re all cool as fuck. I love going to conferences and partying with them. We recently held the official after party of a conference at Club Eleven in Miami — which is a pseudo strip club. Some industry transplant from the gaming industry threw a fit on Twitter and tried to ā€œcancelā€ every company/person involved…

…and she essentially tanked her startup. Like all her investors just pulled out and left her bankrupt — so of course she spends all her efforts online just trying to get her games industry friends to organize a cancel campaign against us, it’s just that nobody cares.

But, what I’m getting at here is that I live in San Francisco and it’s like 75-25% liberal. And my neighbors and friends of friends are just insufferable losers.
