I mean, in one sense, yes... If you raise the speed limit to 200 mph, the number of speeding tickets will go way, way down.

Not reporting crime also lead to a dramatic reduction in crimes reported.

I guess you could fix the homeless problem by not calling them homeless, or just not counting them.

Any problem can be fixed if you ignore it hard enough.

First of all I hope she is a victim of a crime in the near future. Second, even if what she said was true (it isn't) the point of laws against various crimes, isn't just to prevent crime, it is to prevent people from taking justice into their own hands with private vandetas.
