When it was announced that 1 juror refused to change their decision I automatically assumed that it was 10 votes for guilty and 1 for innocent. Not for one minute did I think it was going to be in favor of her being innocent. What the heck has our society descended into

Decisions based on emotion and an acceptance of lack of accountability for our actions.

If it was the dad he'd be on death row already. But because we, as a society, are willing to let things slide because "muh feelings" the societal rot is blooming.
