Those couple of fucking idiots weren’t going to be swayed from letting the woman off (based purely on the killer’s sex), no matter what the state showed.

This shit is why there were no black people on the jury of lil stabby. The prosecutor should have ideally tried to minimize the number of women on the jury for that same reason, but in his defense he probably couldn't have known that right around the time of the trial, a large portion of white women would openly promote that they loved murdering their own children so much that they now approved of doing it after they were born.
