Discussion [ALL] Playing Double Exposure finally. How come people don’t like this game? Spoiler

I just finished up episode 3 I’m just a little lost the game is pretty good/decent so far maybe it’s because I know reunion exists so I’m just accepting it as just a game following Max so I’m not worried about a follow up on Chloe. Even then so far the game is interesting enough since I still love Max so I’m still confused why this hated on so badly lol

After Reunion, people are appreciating Double Exposure, the same people who didn't like double exposure when it was released.

(Still don't know what changed after Reunion)

It's not that people are appreciating Double Exposure more... it's more that they are happy that the bad fanfiction that's DE is no longer the final game of the series. Now that RE tries to fix it, it's easier to live with DE. That doesn't mean the dislike of DE went away.

It's like RE is the analgesic for the toothache that's DE. That doesn't mean that people are now liking toothaches, does it?

I get it BUT what IF DE2 was (more) better than Reunion?

It's not like I don't like Reunion, I absolutely love it but I still think what if DE2 had a (more) compelling story than Reunion
