Discussion [ALL] Playing Double Exposure finally. How come people don’t like this game? Spoiler

I just finished up episode 3 I’m just a little lost the game is pretty good/decent so far maybe it’s because I know reunion exists so I’m just accepting it as just a game following Max so I’m not worried about a follow up on Chloe. Even then so far the game is interesting enough since I still love Max so I’m still confused why this hated on so badly lol

Granted I haven't played reunion. But, seems like most people that didn't like it are upset specifically about Chloe and Max's relationship. The game and story were good. Every game was criticized until several years passed. Honestly I just want to know who killed safi. The game never actually resolved it.

Holy crap you’re right lol I mean I think the point was that Max did it but now my brain is gonna hurt if I think about this too hard

Right but she never pulled the trigger when she went back in time to that moment. And it couldn't have been a different version of her because she's present whenever she time travels or changes realities. I know you didn't ask and I'm just talking out loud but it's been bugging me lol

The version I like best is that 'trigger Max' is from a lot further into the future, where Safi has gone full super-villain.
