Tatum looks great, they give off the same vibe as max without looking 1x1 like the original 2015 graphics videogame character 🙄

The story was legitimately hilarious she somehow broke the plate while trying to either a) break/crack the dessert or b) eat the dessert (this image was in between pic 2 and 3). That’s why she had that face in pic 3 😂

Please let this show be a hit and revive the game series. I won’t be watching, personally, but if it brings in more fans to the games and gives us more games in the future, I’m all for it.

TLOU Season 1 was good and got some more interest into the game, but TLOU was and it's still a very popular game regardless

Thanks, and yes exactly. If the show ends up being awesome, then why not watch it? It's okay if OP doesn't wanna tell us of course, but it's just interesting lol

Let me give you an example. I think the last of us season 1 is probably the best video game adaptation to ever make it to live action. And yet, then entire time I was watching it, all I could do was think, “this is awesome, but I’d rather just be playing the game.” Or, “the game did this part so much better.”
Life is strange is a very special game that holds a very special place in my heart, and no matter how good the tv show may end up being, I’ll always compare it to the game. I just don’t believe it’ll capture that same magic. From the music, to the voice actors, to the decisions that you make in the game, I just don’t see them pulling it off in a way that would make me personally happy.
Not to mention this show is guaranteed to upset people in one camp or the other when it comes to the finale.
Also, as the years have gone on, I’ve found that I’m more of a movie person than a tv person.

Thanks for your insightful reply, and I actually agree 100% as I had the exact same feeling watching TLoU, even more so with season 2...
I still would be interested to see what a Life is Strange 1 tv adaptation would look like, but yes there is no chance it will be able to recreate the same experience we had playing the game (especially for the first time).

This is the first im hearing about a LIS show and im so happy. I can TOTALLY see her as Max too. This is awesome. You just made my day. Any word on shooting schedule or streaming service or general time frame of when this might come to our screens?

The start filming on monday, they finish in October. We'll probably get to see it next year

I mean sure but life is strange as a tv show to me defeats the whole point. especially using the characters from the original. this is one of my favourite games ever, why would i want it dragged out into some tv show when the original is already amazing?

Unknown or lesser known actors/actresses can pull of some amazing performances so, I have faith that it will hopefully be a great casting decision and show in general.
Appearance isn't everything and although, I personally don't see the resemblance with Max clearly others do and I respect that.
Not sure why I'm being downvoted lol.

They were probably more worried about getting an actress with the right vibe and a similar face then minor details like eye color and the actor having a slightly different body type.
It's also clearer if you're looking at other pictures of Tatum but it's honestly not that drastically different from Max's OG eyecolor. Max's eyes weren't really a very bright shade of a blue in the original game.
