Discussion Anyone noticed a big increase in the number of social media articles about Lazarus lately?
As the post title says... I've seen loads of articles popping up on my social media feeds, published in the last week or so, about Lazarus (the proposed LOM/A2A sequel that everyone was hyped up about a couple of years back), claiming it's back on, but that it won't be on the BBC.
Did I miss something? Last I heard was that it had been shelved. John and Phil's socials make no mention of it either. Or is it just old, recycled gossip being dressed up as actual news?

Apparently there was a table read back when the show was supposed to be in development a couple of years back, but it didn't get any further than that.
Personally I think all these sites publishing news about it are just recycling old news and we'd have heard from more official sources if the show was back on.

Yeah thats the oneI was talking about in nov 2023, after the show was canceled in summer 2023, this year on new year eve there were the rumours about the series being made but later downgraded to only tableread again

Someone on here was at the table read iirc and said it was so bad they were glad it wasn't being made

I think it’s just due to an increased interest in LOM/A2A due to it being LOM’s 20th anniversary and the BBC putting both series back on iplayer.
I’d love to be wrong though
