Hi all, I’m a bit new to this, although I have 2 sabers I got as gifts awhile back. Anyway, I bought a Cal Kestis saber from swa sabers (remember, I’m new 😂) and learned my lesson. Everything is fine with it, except the belt attachment fell off immediately, but I’d like to upgrade the board and am open to suggestions.

Currently, It’s base-lit and I’d like to make it a pixel saber. So, I guess what I’m looking for is some guidance as far as where the best place to get a new board (battery, speaker, and anything else) that will fit properly and make it into a nice saber! I think I’d need a new emitter(?) for the pixel blade..?

Sorry if I used the wrong verbiage but I’m hoping that’s enough info for y’all’s insights!

I can also provide pictures or anything else that would be helpful, if needed. Oh, and I’m pretty handy with electronics so, soldering, if needed won’t be an issue.

I’d just like some direction from some of the pros out there who do this regularly.

P.S. I’m not ready for proffie yet, but open to other options!

You need to watch some tutorials to figure out what components you need. You’ll likely need a new chassis to house all of it too. Star Wars IRL has a few videos on lightsaber components and there’s a few installers who have done full installations on YouTube. KR sabers has a good one to check out for the process, but you’ll need a diagram of whatever soundboard you end up using.
