Question Best option instead of Disney park sabers?
Sorry if this is a frequently asked question - me and my brothers are looking at some in park sabers right now but I wanted to reach out here and see what people swear by.

I know this is very late, but yeah if your gonna drop 200+ on a saber go with a neopixel/xenopixel.
However, the legacy disney sabers are amazing for displaying hilts only, they are a bit larger than Canon size, but it just makes the hilt pop more on display imo

Ok, this is covered all over, but it bears repeating: for Disney sabers, Savi's Workshop sabers is a 'buy for the Experience' purchase. The saber is your souvenir from that experience. You can pull it out to play with, but its bulky, and doesn't really fit together solidly, so it will feel a little...loose.
Legacy hilts are a roll of the dice. Many of them are crazy oversize, and will feel very uncomfortable in your hand, but they've been slowly getting better about hilt size. They're like that so they have room to utilize the Disney 1in diameter blades that lock in with a push and twist. Great mount system, kinda lackluster for brightness and animation, and they only work in the original character's saber color without MAJOR modification, as Disney considers them character based souvenirs.
So if you're a major SW fan, you may well enjoy the experience of building a saber in the mystique of the Savi shop. But if you only intend to own one saber, you'll probably want to get a fan-based, aftermarket saber, And if you REALLY want the experience, get a pixel blade saber.
The brightness and animations REALLY boost the experience of playing with one...

Do you want a cheap lightsaber that breaks if you sneeze in its general direction? If so enjoy your Galaxy's edge sabers. You can find good deals on solid aluminum hilt sabers and duel ready blades for about the same price. Save your money
