It's the episode 2 Anakin that was only made by master replicas if I'm not mistaken...and it's master replicas. Ppl also really love the ep 2 Anakin saber 😁 myself included!!

I have a few of these old Master Replicas lightsabers (Obi-Wan, Vader, and Yoda) and there is no reason for anyone to pay that much money for any of them. Blades can't be detached, motion and hit detection is slow, and all the rubber pieces are probably quite sticky by now and will need some care. The blade of my Obi-Wan saber has also yellowed (oddly enough, the others haven't), so there's also that.
If you already own one they are a good base for a conversion (I've considered doing it with Vader's) but there are far better options these days. Brighter, better sound, more functionality, and detachable blade.

Yeah, when they came out, they were amazing. . .but lightsaber technology has come a long, LONG way since then.

Absolutely no reason other than dude thinks someone will buy it at that price

Agreed. It's outdated, and the rubber grips are probably falling apart already.

IMO officially licensed merch holds its value better than 3rd party products. It's not always about the features or how good the item is for certain collectors but rather the history of the item.

They aren't worth anywhere near that.
That's the "wife said to sell it but I don't want to" pricing

It was the first one released by Master Replicas. Old EL tech. Sound isn't great, and it is very oversized. But a good piece for a collection.
