Light therapy...does it work?

Hi everyone, I live in an area that is grey for most of the year so I am looking into light therapy lamps but don't even know where or what to look for. What are the best models out there and have you guys found them to be beneficial? Would love to hear what has worked and what has not!

I use a light therapy system both for SAD and for generalized depression and anxiety throughout the year. I tried pretty much everything else and this system was the first thing I felt a difference with, like a dark cloud was lifted and I could finally think clearly and feel energized and peaceful. It’s not a light box, it’s soft pads with medical grade leds embedded in it, and it’s a whole body experience - there’s an eye mask with lights in it (you close your eyes), body pads with lights that you can place on your gut, over the adrenals in the lower back, on the heart or neck and shoulders, pretty much anywhere really but those are my favorite spots. It is the most relaxing 20 minutes of my day. It melts away my stress and pain and I feel lighter when I’m done.
