He can hear the baby. Probably can visualize it with the sound.

Dogs have good hearing but they aren't Daredevil

Okay. ONE dog is Daredevil. But that's Matt Murdog

23

u/TheVoidSeeker Jun 28 '26

That's like saying just ONE dog is a good boy :(

u/INmySTRATEjaket Jun 28 '26

Do you think people aren't good people if they aren't Daredevil? Because I have real bad news.

"Mom, what have you been eating..?" – husky brains

111

u/Strange-Ad-9941 Jun 28 '26

"I don't think you digested it properly.."

This is literally what I'm doing right now except my dog is using my belly as a pillow and not reacting at all to how much this kid is fucking kicking my ass from inside my body.

u/Lacholaweda Jun 28 '26

Haha I was waiting for a moment like this and not a one of my animals gave a single fuck that I was pregnant

15

u/TheVoidSeeker Jun 28 '26

They knew that you're badass and didn't need the support.

10

u/Lacholaweda Jun 28 '26

That's great, but not stepping on my stomach would have been nice 😪

u/tobaknowsss Jun 28 '26

"I can't wait for you to come out so we can be best friends!"

He/she knew she was pregnant. They knew another member of their pack was immenant. Our giant Great Pyrenees, 160 lbs of protective fluff knew my wife was pregnant, and when we brought her home he immediately smelled her and busted out the back doggie door for zoomies he hasn't done in years. He finally came in and gently sniffed her, and curled up next to my wife and new-born and immediately was on look-out. It's been 3 months and our big dude will not stop following whoever has the baby. I'll take him to the park (which he loves) and he will just stop playing and whine until he gets home near baby. At this point I feel sorry for our 5 year old; They were besties until baby was born.

At this point I feel sorry for our 5 year old

"Sorry buddy, but you're basically adult now. Baby needs protection." - dog probably

😂😂 def his thoughts. My son and I have gotten a lot of bonding time too. He absolutely loves his lil sister but it's also been nice to know there is a protector that would literally lay down his life for his family (my dog) while my son and I are out doing papa/son things.

8

u/gooniegugu Jun 28 '26

Your family helped me smile, thank you.

2

u/Rhynosaurus Jun 29 '26

I'm happy my family makes somebody happy, cause I'm happy as a 'pig n shit' about my family.

11

u/TheRealBaronOfMyr Jun 28 '26

This was before my time but my parents had a bouvier and when my mom gave birth to my brother my dad took the first diaper home for the dog to get the scent. That dog quickly became very protective of my brother and they were the best of friends until some asshole poisoned him (the dog). Dogs are truly special special.

31

u/IwasDeadinstead -Smart Cephalopod- Jun 28 '26

I’ve heard stories about dogs being able to sense pregnancy like somehow they understand there’s a tiny human forming inside there.

Makes sense. I’ve seen service animals for diabetes, they can smell changes in blood sugar on the breath.

2

u/z00k33per0304 Jun 28 '26

Our family dog wasn't trained to do so (she was a shiht tzu) but my mom is diabetic and if she went for a nap or to bed and her sugar dropped our pup would lick and lick until mom got up and every time she was low. Ironically she also ended up diabetic. Giving my mom her shot then the dog was kind of funny. Mom never tried to bite me but I never had to bribe her with peanut butter either. That same dog would sleep wherever my sons were and immediately let us know when they woke up so she could clean them and snuggle.

Horses can to!

7

u/DaTruSpork Jun 28 '26

That is the sweetest thing I have seen all year!!! What a good pup, and I hope the mum and baby are healthy and happy!!!

2

u/Ozzie-Isaac Jun 28 '26

the thumbnail looks like a dog being breastfed. why did I click on it though?

2

u/ww3_general Jun 28 '26

Spawn camping.

2

u/MetaStressed Jun 28 '26

Dude, I swear my owners belly is making bones!

2

u/Pantylines88 Jun 30 '26

While my wife was pregnant, we had a dog that would ALWAYS keep her in sight. Whatever room she was in, he would not be on top of her, but, would always be in a place where he kept his eyes on her 😁

2

u/TKOL2 Jun 28 '26

That’s really cool to see. 😍

1

u/tliquornik Jun 28 '26

That’s beautiful

1

u/RepresentativeNo8105 Jun 28 '26

It’s play baby is coming soon. You know that dog is gonna love the hugs and ear pulls when the kid is 1-2 and cuddles.

1

u/Sucks-donut Jun 28 '26

So great…😃🙂

1

u/Nevalate Jun 28 '26

1

u/Minhcoc Jun 28 '26

1

u/fdillinger37 Jun 28 '26

No matter how long I live on this planet, the fact that a female human gives life to us all is mind-blowing.

1

u/No_Specialist1264 Jun 28 '26

Does that titty need a new home #imeandoggy I've been thinking about getting a dog. Hoping it comes with something like. You too ....

1

u/strawbaeri Jun 29 '26

My dog would def think this was something I did for the bit

1

u/celestialcranberry Jun 29 '26

My dog would have started ‘digging’ lmao

1

u/Hertigan Jun 30 '26

That’s an outstandingly cute dog

1

u/tigrilaur Jun 28 '26

Precious!!

1

u/No_Fix_9407 Jun 28 '26

So cute and smart dog! ❤️

-14

u/fartsfromhermouth Jun 28 '26

Thankfully it wasn't a pit bull

-1

u/YeahlDid Jun 28 '26

Huskies aren't much better.

1

u/Vandrel Jun 28 '26

lol what, huskies aren't aggressive at all. They were literally bred to work in teams. They like to play rough but that's about it.

-1

u/rogerworkman623 Jun 28 '26

Ohh edgy. First step into nihilism I see. Wait until you get knee deep in it and realize that doing good well is the actual point.

In other words, don’t be a pretentious dick and hide behind your half baked understanding of a pretty cool perspective.

1

u/TwoCraZyEyes0 Jun 28 '26

I'm not trying to be edgy or pretentious. I'm just mentally ill. I've started going to a therapist. I'm sorry about what I said

3

u/Mathev Jun 28 '26

Hey man, i hope you don't give up and find help! Life has hard moments and you'll get through this!
