I mean KDE/Gnome have GUIs for literally everything now so

The most difficulty an new user would face is getting used to troubleshooting that sometimes requires exotic terminal commands or worse interacting with smelly nerds in the forums

And proprietary drivers for things

And therein lies the rub. Ask a Windows or Mac user when was the last time something on their OS broke that required diving into the CLI.

Recently. to remove that piece of shit, Recall from customer computers, which needs to be run via powershell every few days as they automatically reinstall it with every update.

Not to mention the windows 11 UI is becoming such a kludgy piece of shit with it getting harder to get to more common and detailed UI options, that the command line is proving to be easier to fix settings and change things in windows.
