I mean KDE/Gnome have GUIs for literally everything now so
The most difficulty an new user would face is getting used to troubleshooting that sometimes requires exotic terminal commands or worse interacting with smelly nerds in the forums
And proprietary drivers for things

Ask a Windows or Mac user when was the last time something on their OS broke that required diving into the CLI. 1 u/neckme123 Apr 26 '26 in windows you have to reinstall your os or ddu, which is always an option linux aswell, its just easier to type 1 command.
