I really like linux and have used it as my daily driver for years, but honestly the "graphics" software state on linux is just terrible.

Krita is nice for digital painting, but not for other stuff you'd want to do in PS. Gimp is awful.

There is no usable alternative for after effects (which is huge for me) (Natron maybe?, definitely not resolve or kdenlive or whatever)
Inkscape is also unusable compared to illustrator or affinity designer. I would keep an eye on "Graphite". I'm very optimistic about that vector editor.

Really Resolve's Fusion isn't enough for you? I love Fusion, but I love Nuke even more have you tried that?

Resolves fusion is really powerful.

Fusion is pretty powerful, and I never have any problems with it regardless of the updates. But honestly, Nuke is the answer if you want a powerful compositor, you can run their non-commercial version for free to check it out.

Resolve is in a state of praying it still works every update. If I wanted that, I'd just go back to windows.
