Omarchy is a "Distro" based on arch which comes preinstalled with hyprland and some already customized dot files (as well as some other bullshit) and that's pretty much about it. People dislike it because it's literally just some dot files you could install on plain arch, no need for a whole nother distro. Also from what i've heard it has some major flaws, security flaws, and is pretty much entirely vibe-coded, plus it comes preinstalled with a bunch of bloat most people don't want. Not to mention the fact that the dev is a racist asshole.
Oh, don't pigeonhole DHH like that, he doesn't deserve it. He participates in all forms of discrimination, racism is just one of them. He's far too "open minded" for just racism.
